“Happy staff, happy children = Happy children, happy staff!”

Here at Into-Play, we believe in offering you and your child the best professional care and creating positive, nurturing relationships through our robust key person system.  This is what drives our child care practitioners to be so highly motivated.  Many of our staff are parents themselves so understand the apprehension many of you face when putting your children in a nursery for the first time.  Through our initial settling in process you will be introduced to your child’s key person, who will support you and be there to ensure you feel as happy and reassured as possible.  This relationship built up with your child’s key-person often lasts years – and in our experience some last a lifetime.

Training

It is widely recognised that ongoing staff development and training, is of huge significance in maintaining quality standards in child care.  It helps keep staff focused, challenged and up to date in their daily practice, which in turn hugely benefits the children at nursery.  We comply with the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage, and in some cases go over and above the recommended minimum qualification requirements to ensure we are delivering the best service possible.   Each site has their own full trained SENCo, Designated Safeguarding Lead and Behaviour Management Co-ordinator to guarantee the children’s individual needs are met at all times.

Into-play have contributed extensively to training and providing high quality work experience placements for students from Gloucester university, Gloucestershire College, local schools and academies.  Students are mentored throughout their time with us so they get the most out of their placement and some even end up coming on board as a full-time member of staff once they have gained their qualification!

“When I first visited Into-Play on my placement I could feel a really nice atmosphere as soon as I walked in.  The staff are lovely and you can tell they care for every child as if they were their own.  It is a really inspiring nursery and supports the children’s individual learning and development very well” Sophie W (former Cache work-experience student)
