Barnwood

Into-Play @ Barnwood opened it’s doors in October 2015 and built up rapid success within weeks of opening. Formerly the old Doctors surgery on Barnwood Road, this setting is an extremely large and spacious nursery with excellent facilities throughout, with capacity to take 63 children daily.  We have three playrooms – Under 2’s, 2 – 3’s and Pre-School.  Each of our playrooms have their own dedicated play area with a corrugated roof shelter which extends around the perimeter of the building, to ensure the children have access to outside come rain or shine.  Our Under 2’s have daily access to their beautiful garden area which has been designed to ensure even our youngest babies have a safe space to explore the outside area.  Our 2-3’s children have a lovely decking area, complete with sand/water activities, an outdoor “book snug” and climbing equipment to help them develop their gross motor skills.  Pre-school benefit from a huge grassy play area which includes a “forest area” where children can go and explore the mud kitchens to develop their imagination.   We have strong links with the local infant schools such as Elmbridge and as many of our parents/families are from Hucclecote, we will also link up with Dinglewell and Abbeymead.

Many new families who enrol with us comment that it is due to “Word of Mouth” and recommendations, which is testament to the great reputation Into-Play has as being a leading Early Years provision in the Gloucester area.

In June 2023, we won the “Top 20 Day Nurseries in the South-West” award which we are extremely proud of!  You can read the many reviews from our parents here
