The Quays

In January 2013, we opened our second nursery ‘Into-Play @ the Quays’. Formerly the Sir Colin Campbell public house in Llanthony Road (opposite Gloucestershire College) it immediately became a sought-after child care setting, with many parents putting their names on a waiting list wanting their child to start as soon as we opened! The nursery is registered for 68 children and benefits from spacious play rooms and beautiful outside play areas. Being a stone’s throw away from the historic Gloucester docks and Quays Outlet we have fantastic opportunities to take the babies and children out for walks to explore the local area.

It is perfectly situated to service the local community of Hempsted in addition to anyone working in Gloucester city itself. Parents find it ideally placed when travelling from Quedgeley, Highnam, Hartpury and the surrounding areas.

In our most recent Ofsted Inspection (June 2022) we were rated “Good” by the inspector, who commented “All staff provide a safe and secure environment for children to play and learn” and “Children thrive in this nursery which provides an environment centred around their interests”.
